NiftiBrain respects user privacy. At this time, we do not use third-party analytics or advertising software. The data we collect from users is for internal use only. To our knowledge, we do not share or sell user data with third parties.

Any cookies used on our websites and services are required for essential site functionality.

NiftiBrain is in an early stage of development, and we reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement and/or make use of third-party analytics technology or cookies in the future.

NiftiBrain collects some user data for internal purposes. Specifically, we perform logging of IP address and user agents to assist in system administration. In addition, we collect data submitted to us on contact forms. We primarily use this data to answer questions or correspond with users regarding the site content. This data may be stored, collected or deleted. NiftiBrain does not contact users unless it is in response to a specific inquiry. All submissions are considered confidential. Aside from data that is submitted to us voluntarily on the contact or dontaion forms, none of the data we collect is personally identifiable.

NiftiBrain does not knowingly collect information from minors (users under the age of 13). We request that users under the age of 13 do not submit personal information to NiftiBrain, and encourage parents and guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage to help us enforce this policy.

NiftiBrain uses some third-party services. The providers of these resources have their own privacy policies. Specifically, NiftiBrain uses the PubMed API on the region info pages to display recent articles published about brain regions. NLM may collect non-identifying information, as outlined in their privacy policy on the NLM Web Policies page. In addition, we make requests to the Allen API to query images from the Allen Adult Human Brain Atlas. Please review the Allen Institute Privacy Policy for more information.
